If you're looking for inner peace regarding the whole idea of death, then this book is a recommendation. It sort of seems like a meditation that revolves around it.
For someone who is already persuaded of the author's specific belief system, page ii is probably the most attention-grabbing part of this book for the sake of introduction.
Pages 34 and 35 address various religions.
Page 116 will probably make you think more of the author's view of conscious death, and you will likely want to do research about how to make it happen if you're persuaded about a specific part of the supernatural existing. Pages 221 and 222 can help increase one's likelihood of conscious dying in a way that one might be motivated to do good works for others.
Page 67 contains a quote that any parent ought to see and really think about.
Pages 67 to 68 have different stages that a person passing away may experience.
Chapter 9 is by far my favorite part of the book.
Page 92 can give you a consideration about reincarnation that you likely did not have if that's a topic that fascinates you. And 212 gives us an idea about why reincarnation might happen.
Pages 223 to 226 have a glossary that one might find interesting to scan through.
This book would probably be most appealing to people interested in spirituality, philosophy, religion and history.
The bottom of page 8 addresses a topic in New Age that would realistically persuade someone of a specific belief system if the person experienced it. Chapter 9 is be far my favorite chapter of the entire book.
Chapters 18-23 revolve around historical references to conscious dying.
Pages 102 to 108 have about the process of passing away.
To see about angels, check out pages 19 and 44-46.
Pages 22-23 has a list regarding NDEs that one could want to keep for reference.
Part of this book includes about how to make certain people who will surely pass away soon feel more comfortable.
If you're curious about the author's view of a soul shortly before it enters an infant, you can rest assured that this is part of what's included in the book.
If you did some research about the health benefits of reading in general, you'd be amazed. It's also healthier to read paperback or hardcover books as opposed to using electronic devices. You might think it's more beneficial to generally read nonfiction as opposed to fiction, but consider the visual benefits of reading even if it's fiction. And consider how beneficial it could be to try to learn if something is fiction OR nonfiction! :D
