In 1992, as a fund-raising effort, the Lancaster County Historical Society produced a limited edition reproduction of the 1875 Everts & Stewart Historical Atlas of Lancaster County. Using an original as a basis, a skilled local lithographer and a printer created small runs of both hardcover and softcover versions. Printed on high-quality paper to faithfully represent the original, both versions sold out immediately.

The Atlas features contemporary maps of Lancaster city and all the townships and boroughs of Lancaster County, showing property ownership and business locations, along with comprehensive histories. It’s richly illustrated with engravings. This incredible snapshot in time is a must have for anyone interested in the history of Lancaster County, or as a gift for anyone who is.

For sale are three of the softcovers: Two have been stored, un-touched, since the original printing, and the third has been lightly used for research and is in like new condition, save for some cover fading due to light exposure.

11" x 17", 120 pages. Each of the “un-touched” is offered at $100. The lightly-used version is $75.
