If you are reading this, it is still available. This is around a 1948 Earthmaster tractor, model C. Pretty rare tractors. Only about 1500 were ever made. The company was in Burbank, California and the plant was in Hollydale, California. In the 50s they were sold off for a second time and were produced in Statesville, NC. Only about 50 were made at that time. The first 630 tractors had square badges showing Hollydale, CA. This one has the oval nose badge, which was used after the square badge, showing Burbank, CA. These tractors used the continental N62 four-cylinder engine, the same as the Massey Harris Pony and the Allis Chalmers G. It is rated at 15.6 HP and is 62 cubic inches and parts are readily available for the engine. It is a 6 volt system with electric start. It has a hydraulic pump in the front of the tractor that runs off the crankshaft and is easily accessible for service. This tractor has the hydraulic rear lift which also lifts the belly mounted cultivators, lights and very rare front and rear wheel weights. I also have a hard to find 5-foot box blade that goes with it. The front tires and tubes are brand new, just put them on a couple months ago. Both rear tires have new tubes but old tires which still have tread. I have the battery door which is always missing on these tractors. I believe it is a reproduction that I picked up about 20 years ago when I bought this tractor. The tractor is currently painted Allis orange which a lot of owners did. From what I have heard the ones in NC may have been orange but the California tractors were red and the paint code comes up the same as Farmall red. There is evidence in several places on this tractor that it was originally red. The cultivator parts show a dark green under the orange. I have copies of brochures, parts lists and the owners manual that all go with the tractor. I just cleaned the carb and fuel shutoff/ sediment bowl. It starts pretty easy and runs good. It does smoke on acceleration so it will eventually need some work or not, it's up to the new owner. THE BATTERY is NOT included, I use this on other vehicles I have but I will start it and drive it on your trailer then remove the battery. I also have a new set of correct decals but I never installed them because I wanted to return it back to red before doing so. Again, up to the new owner. The lights are not working and not sure about the amp or temp gauges. Oil pressure does work and is right in range according to the manual. Sorry about the long description but tried to cover as much as possible to avoid a million questions. Come take a look, it's a nice Orphan tractor that is pretty much complete and hard to find this way.
