We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to provide professional cleaning services at commercial/logistics facilities in the Lancaster and York areas. This is a consistent, recurring opportunity — ideal for an individual cleaner or small cleaning company looking for stable, ongoing accounts.
Daily Responsibilities include:
Empty and re-line all trash containers; transport to disposal
Sweep, dust mop, and wet mop hard floors; spot clean stains and scuff marks
Clean and disinfect restrooms fully — toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, partitions, floors, and fixtures
Refill all dispensers (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue)
Clean and sanitize break room surfaces, microwaves, and drinking fountains
Spot clean walls, light switches, door handles, push plates, and glass
Vacuum walk-off mats and carpeted areas
Police exterior areas for trash and cigarette butts
Secure all doors upon completion
Periodic Responsibilities include (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually):
Spray buff and strip/wax tile floors
Clean interior/exterior windows and entry glass
Damp wipe vents, baseboards, and low surfaces
Machine scrub restroom floors
Power sweep and scrub dock/concrete flooring
Pressure wash sidewalks and entryways (annually)
Requirements:
Reliable transportation to both Lancaster and York locations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience in commercial janitorial or facility cleaning preferred
Must be able to follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures on dock areas
Attention to detail and consistent, professional work ethic
What We Offer:
$700/month per site ($1,400/month total if servicing both locations)
Stable, 5-day-per-week schedule
