Job Title: Maintenance Team Coordinator

Location: Lititz, PA 17543

Shifts Available: 40hrs/week Mon-Fri

1st shift: 7am-3:30pm
2nd shift: 3pm-11:30pm
Pay Rate: $20-22/hr - based on experience and education

Reports to: Maintenance and Facilities Team Leader

Basic Functions: Coordinator team in task achievement of area goals. Coordinate the maintenance work order process, from the initial identification, request, approval, scoping, planning, scheduling execution and final closeout. This position will interact with internal customers (ex. Mechanics/Technicians, Central Parts, Maintenance Supervisors and Managers, Production Planners, Engineers, Operations, QA/QC, Purchasing, Finance) and external customers (ex. Service Providers, Vendors, etc…). This position will provide the detailed plans required to efficiently and effectively complete maintenance work and create a schedule for that work.

Job Responsibilities:

Activities and functions the employee will be responsible for:

Successfully complete training designated for position by management (e.g. Lean, Leadership, Problem Solving, SAP, etc.)
Coordinate the planning of major repairs and preventative maintenance work performed (including shutdown jobs within a designated Business Unit).
Assist the Maintenance Staff in developing and implementing improvements consistent with the J&J Worldwide ME2 (Manufacturing Equipment Excellence) process.
Coordinate the purchase of parts and services related to repairs and preventive maintenance work performed (including shutdown jobs). May include purchase requisitioning.
Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and maintenance shutdown schedules.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a repetitive job plan archive.
Assist in preparing estimates of work as part of the maintenance budget process
Works with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Validation to institutionalize the Work Planning and Control Process and Manufacturing Equipment Excellence best practices.
Promotes maximum Maintenance effectiveness and efficiency by coordinating planning and scheduling of work.
Reviews initial job priority and maintains the Work Orders Backlog.
Determines job scope by field checks and consultation with Engineering, Maintenance, QA and Operations personnel as needed.
Assists in analyzing work for methods and crafts and skill requirements and maintaining total job coordination responsibility.
Determines spare parts and material requirements with spare parts coordinators before scheduling jobs.
Use of CMMS (computer maintenance management systems)
Lead team continuous improvement activity, and update team standards work as appropriate.
Support and assist the Team Leader in developing and communicating operational priorities and goals and help measure progress towards achieving those goals.
Assist in the investigation of product quality and line efficiency issues. Write Quality investigations and Global Change Controls.
Assist in developing, updating, and writing Standard Operating Procedures.
Participates in audits of operations to include housekeeping, safety, and other maintenance related activities.
Identify opportunities for safety and ergonomic improvements
Ensure FDA/OSHA/ EH&S compliance standards are met within area
Train and ensure adequate training for team members within assigned area of responsibility.
Maintain training records and coordinate training process for assigned area of responsibility.
Lead activities in a manner that protects the health and safety of all colleagues and is in full compliance of all regulatory policies and procedures.
Assist department in creating a work environment that embraces changes by providing the leadership needed to implement and execute goals to meet business requirements.
Participate in staffing meeting associated with Quality, Planning, EH&S or Production when requested by the Team Leader
Partner with Safety SME teams to support and execute improvements within areas
Adhere to all company policies
Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements:

Education: Minimum requirement of a Bachelor of Science Degree
Experience in Regulated Industry is considered an asset (example: food & beverage, pharmaceutical or medical device)
Experience in SAP is considered an asset
Able to work/navigate in Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Working knowledge of GMPs is required
