This is a rare collectible item that was very important to Rock & Roll in the 1960's - 1970's. It's a Silvertone Guitar sold at Sears in the 1960's. Many great guitarists got these as their very first guitar because they were the whole package rolled into one. Their is a 15 Watt Amplifier & speaker built into the case. Not loud enough to gig with but they wouldn't hold up to that life anyway.
Jimi Hendrix had one of these as his first guitar. Allen Collins of the Lynyrd Skynyrd Band also learned how to play by using one. .
Canada's Mac Demarco, Elvis, Bob Dylan, John Fogerty, Brad Paisley, Buck Owen, Eric Clapton all have laid claim to learning how to play on a Silvertone 1448
