We currently have an opening for a new and used vehicle Sales Consultant.

Compensation for this position can be either: salary plus bonus or straight commission.

Job Description:

The new and used vehicle Sales and Leasing Consultant will be responsible for the profitable selling of vehicles to customers. Prospecting for new customers through a variety of methods, to include but not exclusive to: cold calls, referrals, social media and Hyundai/LCM generated marketing. Meeting defined minimum sales and related goals monthly. Developing relationships with prospects and customers to foster satisfaction from the sale and encourage additional referral business.

Job Duties Include:

•Generate leads and bring in new prospective buyers
•Display cars and take potential buyers on test drives
•Sell cars to prospective clients
•Suggesting optional vehicle equipment
•Prepare paperwork and financing applications
•Maintain automotive product knowledge
•Maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring return business and referral business with customer follow-up

Qualifications:

•Knowledge of Hyundai products preferred, but not required
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships
•Knowledge of the English language, spelling, grammar, punctuation and numbering systems
•Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
•Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft software products
•Knowledge of basic math
•Must have a valid driver’s license
•Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check
