Seeking mechanically minded handyman / fabricator for unusual home accessibility project.
I have an existing Acorn stairlift in my Lancaster County home and am looking for someone practical and safety-conscious who might be able to evaluate and potentially build a custom removable standing-platform adaptation for a large arthritic dog (118 lbs).
The stairlift itself is already functioning properly. I am NOT looking for electrical modifications, but rather a stable and safe platform solution using the existing lift system.
Ideal person would have experience with fabrication, carpentry, welding, mobility equipment, or creative mechanical problem-solving.
Paid project. Safety and practicality are the priorities.
